I am CFO at Long River Ventures, a seed and early stage venture fund, actively investing in New England and the northeastern U.S. out of its third fund. The fund focuses on healthcare and enterprise IT.
In addition to my work with Long River Ventures, I develop entrepreneurship curriculum and teach in accelerator programs in the U.S. and globally.
I also serve on the Board of Directors of the non-profit Greentown Learn, affiliated with Greentown Labs, the world's largest cleantech incubator.
I've worked in a diverse range of industries from aquaculture to Internet and have extensive consulting experience with universities and innovators on technology commercialization.
I live in Massachusetts. My brother and I both grew up in Vancouver, Canada and went to Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. He took a different tack: he's a climate change scientist. You can read about some of his work at Real Climate.
